Located on Highway 17 South in Elizabeth City, is home to permanent and temporary galleries featuring the story of the people who dwelled in the Albemarle region from the Native Americans and African-Americans to the first English-speaking colonists, adventurers, fishermen and farmers. Located on the campus of Elizabeth City State University, presents multimedia productions under the stars on a variety of topics including: space exploration, science fiction, current astronomy and laser shows. Reservations are required with a minimum group size of 10.
